Digital didactics
Today we had the second lesson of digital didactics. I was a little bit scared for this lesson because i was very confused the previous lesson. I thought that the assignment to prepare a workshop with pupils would be very difficult. Especially for me because i am not so good with computers. I get the feeling that computers always work against me. They almost never do what i want them to do!

I must say that i was reassured after the explanation about what we had to do in the workshop.
We had to sit in groups and do a little presentation about the different countries and do some exercices of Hot Patatoes with the children. I am in a group with: Lore, Serifee, Christoph and Eva.
I did know of the existance of the program Hot Patatoes, but that was far away in my memory.
Luckely my memory was refreshed after a short explanation by Sebastiaan and Ruben Jans.
After this we could start in the groups with the work. We splitted everything between us so it would go a lot quicker.
Before we realised it, the time was up and we had to leave the room.
I am verry glad that i left the classroom with a good feeling about this. Hot patatoes is'nt so difficult to work with. It is actually something very usefull and i even think that i will work with it in the feature when i am a teacher.

The rose of axen
In the afternoon we had the lastlesson about the rose of axen.
Luc van Helmont suprised me again with his approach.
We started with some funny exercices in the warming up such as:
- Standing in the room. One person is walking in the room. When this person stops, two other persons have to begin walking. When the last of the two stops, Three persons have to start walking... So it goes on until 5 persons and than we have to go back to one person again. When there goes something wrong, we had to start over again.
- Counting from 1 to 20 with the whole group. The special thing with this exercice was, that we couldn’t say a number at the same time. Than we had to start over again.
After this we talked in group about the previous lesson, about our expectations...
Luc tested us by giving everyone a peace of paper about the rose of axen. We had to put it on the floor in the right place.
It suprised me to see that the foreign students still knew a lot of it.
We also sad a lot in groups during the lesson.
We spoke together about our task. (giving examples of each ax in our own lives)
Another thing we did, was looking for examples of the ways of influencing an ax.
I have to say that this was something new for me. I have never learned or heared about these ways of influencing. I must say it was very interesting for me.
At the end of the lesson we finally were getting information about the house af axen. I was very curious about this. It was verry disappointing for me when Luc said that there was no time left to say a lot about it. I really think that is a pity because it is something very interesting.
I know now that you find in the house a lot of exercices you can do about the rose of axen. I saw a glimpse of examples.
Because the teacher really made me curious about this, i am planning to go looking in this house of ax on my own.
See you tomorrow!
